Identifying a Device Remotely

When several 12Mic-Ds are connected to the same network, each device has its own remote control. To quickly reveal which device is currently being controlled, the web remote can send an Identify command to the unit. This triggers an animation of the front panel level meters of the corresponding device.

To use device identification with the web remote:

  1. Open the 12Mic-D web remote in a browser (see web remote)

  2. Press the identify icon. The icon will start rotating and the front panel level meters of the controlled device will show an animation.

  3. Press the same icon again to stop the animation.
