Analog Line Input Connectors

The rear of the M-1610 Pro features two 25-pin D-sub connectors labeled "LINE IN" with Tascam®-pinout.

These analog inputs are servo-balanced, allowing balanced and unbalanced signals to be connected without a difference in level.

The last six input channels (Ch. 11 - 16) are additionally provided as balanced TRS input jacks (6.3 mm, 1/4"). They are internally connected to the corresponding D-Sub input channels and can therefore not be used at the same time.

When using unbalanced connections, be sure to connect pin 3 (negative/"cold") to pin 1 (ground), to avoid noise from the unconnected pin 3 input.
